Transforming education in the University
It offers Research courses of 10 credits (as Optional of Deepening) for the second half of 2017, to support a research project on how to change the way of teaching a branch of engineering using technologies and digital resources. The student will support in the realization of an experiment during August and September, and in the subsequent analysis of the experience, and may even participate in the writing of a paper if you are interested. For IPRE, the student should go to a few classes in the industry involved (maximum of 10 in the semester), to support the teacher in intervention, review materials, to correct and support the subsequent analysis of the data collected.

Research in MOOC - Software Development
The MOOCs are Massively Open Courses and in Lines that give training free of charge to anyone who has an internet connection. One of the main problems of MOOCs is that there are a large number of people who do not finish the courses. In this research work in the development of web and mobile applications to support the student in advance of the course.

Research in MOOCs - Analysis of large data
The MOOCs are Massively Open Courses and in Lines that give training free of charge to anyone who has an internet connection. One of the main problems of MOOCs is that there are a large number of people who do not finish the courses. In this research, we will work with the captured data in the MOOCs of the school of engineering to understand what are the characteristics of participants and the context variables that influence the way people learn in this type of courses.
