Laboratorios especulativos en realidad virtual para el prototipado y testeo de prácticas de management
La investigación se inserta en el proyecto denominado Laboratorios Especulativos; espacios de experimentación de prácticas de management en diversos escenarios futuros. Combina diseño, innovación y management, y se comenzará a explorar la pregunta: ¿Cómo las organizaciones -y sus interlocutores internos y externos- crean prácticas de management que anticipen los desafíos y las oportunidades de futuro, teniendo en cuenta un entorno especialmente incierto y cambiante? Buscamos dos estudiantes con perfiles diferentes: Uno/a trabajará en una revisión de literatura sobre la conexión entre estudios de futuro (future-making, foresight, forecast, world-building, entre otros) y prácticas de management para la construcción de requerimientos de los laboratorios especulativos. Otro/a estudiante revisará prototipos que involucran tecnologías de realidad aumentada e inteligencia artificial y trabajará en su adaptación (y eventual extensión) para la construcción de los laboratorios.

DIGITAL TWINS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR SMART FACILITY MANAGEMENT: THE SECONDARY NET OF CHILEAN AIRPORTS
The objective of this research is to systematically analyze variables of vulnerability and risk, including climatic conditions, of terminals of the Secondary Airport Network of Chile, in order to develop a methodology based on artificial intelligence and digital twins as a contribution towards digital transformation in facility management, under different situations and scenarios. In the development of the investigation, the set of terminals without concession of the Secondary Airport Network of Chile, managed by the Ministry of Public Works, will be used as case studies. The potential impact of the projects is their contribution to the development of a public infrastructure management policy contributing to the Mission and Objectives of the Ministry of Public Works (2022- 2026): (i) Strategic objective 2. Infrastructure works and services at the service of people, and (ii) Strategic objective 4. Resource management based on information, efficiency and innovation.
