Filamentous fungi identification through image analysis
Fungal infections are a common pathology in the clinical practice and affect an important percentage of the population. The ident for highly trained, resource is not available in all clinical laboratories . The final goal of this project is to design a tool which by means of the image recognition is able to identify to genus and species of filamentous fungi recovered from a traditional crop. Specific objectives of this project: 1. Acquire images of microscopic observations of filamentous fungi of the species Aspergillus and Mucor, and to develop a database with these 2. Segmentation of images. 3. Extraction and selection of features based on the morphology of the fungi. 4. Create a classifier must able to distinguish both species and their genera.

Degradative pesticide action fungica
